The Warriors' Challenge

Desafio de Guerreros was a 5 km race filled with obstacles and barriers that took place on November 23rd in the ecological park, Parque Ecológico Jerico, to west of Bogota.

The happy group of competitors: German, Lukas, Adriana and Lisandro. The fifth member of the group, Yvonne, arrived late.

Warming up.

Ready to rumble!!!

... and goooooo!!!

German had a waterproof camera with him so he could take pictures during the muddy, wet race.

The rest of the team Titanes was a bit slower.

Meanwhile, Lukas was already approaching the goal.

The last obstacle accomplished!

Lukas became 28th of over 2000 contestants with the time 1h 10 minutes. In general, the competitors needed more than two or three hours to accomplish the race.

Several minutes later, Adriana and Lisandro are arriving to the last stretch.

As Lukas was earlier in the goal, he had had time to shower the mud off. The team members weren't agreeing!

Yvonne, the last team member, arriving to the goal.

Happy group of contestants sharing the experiences of the race. Later, we also shared pizza and pictures. What a memorable day!

Cali

The trip to Cali earlier this year in May was short and efficient. We checked out the must-sees which were not a lot but overall, the city charmed us with the warmth of the people and its tropical savanna climate, of course.

Parque de los Gatos aka Cat Park.

Santiago de Cali, in short known as Cali, is the capital of the Cauca region with over 2 Million inhabitants and therefore, the second largest city in Colombia. Alongside Medellin, plastic beauty operations are very popular in the city. There are also some nice areas with restaurants, bars and pubs for wining and dining.
